The platform comparison is short because it barely matters:
- Detection quality is identical. The models run on vendor servers or in the browser, not on your phone's chip, so iOS and Android get the same verdicts. - Browser tools dominate both. Deepware Scanner, Reality Defender's web app, and FakeCheck all work from mobile Safari and Chrome. - On-device ML exists on both (Core ML on iOS, NNAPI on Android), but no serious vendor ships detection purely on-device yet. Models are too large and update too often. - Sharing differs slightly. Android makes it easier to pull the original file from messaging apps; iOS often hands you a recompressed copy.
